Classical Education At Buffalo Academy
Buffalo Academy is a Hillsdale College Curriculum School. We follow the classical education model for instruction, and our curriculum is grounded in the Western tradition. Our class sizes are purposefully kept small and are taught by specially-selected and trained teachers.
The Bible and tenets of the Christian faith are taught daily. The curriculum concentrates on phonics, American art, history, and literature along with geography, science, and math in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Our students absorb moral virtues of good and evil through the scriptures and also through stories of heroes and villains that have been passed down through our cultural heritage. They learn to appreciate America’s founding principles as well as the responsibilities and gifts that accompany American citizenship.
In all things, our goal is to instill the love of beauty, the necessity of virtue, and the reward of wisdom that enables our students to live productive and prosperous lives in service to their communities, our state, and nation.
The School Day in Kindergarten
Buffalo Academy's doors open at 7:45 am for student drop off at the circle drive in front of the historic Sanctuary. School begins with an opening assembly at 8:00 am. Buffalo Academy is a Hillsdale College Curriculum School. Our Christian Classical K-5 education uses the Hillsdale College curriculum along with sound Biblical instruction which concludes with the school day's end at 3:00 pm.
Tuition and Fees
We are accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Based in Greensboro, Buffalo Academy is a Hillsdale College Curriculum School. We provide a Christian Classical K-5 education built on the Hillsdale College curriculum. Tuition is $8,250 and includes school supplies, and field trips. Additional expenses for families will be uniforms and your child's lunch.
